The Club operates a two-tier squad system which includes a range of morning and evening training sessions ranging between 1 and 2 hours long according to the following timetable. Swimmers over 16 years also have the opportunity to progress into a Masters Squad.
The timetable below is fluid to accommodate the latest COVID-19 safety measures including (where required) managing overall pool capacity to achieve social distancing and providing adequate gaps for squads to change over safely.
Squad selection is subject to a range of factors including swim technique, pool stamina, times achieved during events and training, age, emotional intelligence/ social skills, commitment, attitude and competitive spirit.
Morning Training (on school days) applies to those swimmers usually aged 11 years who have been invited to attend by their coach.
