To support the delivery of the Club’s vision by overseeing the effective day to day management, development and promotion of the Celtic Dolphins Swimming Club to support the Coaching Team in successfully delivering a high standard of competitive swimming opportunities for local swimmers.

Follow on from the Mission Statement, the key objectives of the Committee are as follows:

At the Club's last General Meeting held in March 2021, the following appointments were made to the Committee to oversee the management and development of the Club for the forthcoming year.

A constitution is in place which governs how the Club is run according to criteria set by Swim Wales.  The Club also operates several other
policies and procedures in line with its Swim Wales affliation and  produces an Annual Business and Management Plan details of which can be seen HERE.

The Committee normally meets on a monthly basis to discuss Club business, however, Committee Members are regularly on poolside and are available to discuss any queries or concerns.  Should you like the Committee to address something please note the details of the next committee meeting below and
contact us before-hand.

Competitive swimming is not for the faint hearted and the swimmers and the family members that support them are the life-blood of the ongoing success of the Club on and off pool-side.

The Club relies heavily on the contribution of volunteers, parents in the main,  and there are therefore many opportunities to get involved in Club activities.  Fundraising, helping to organise events and galas, being part of the Committee, coaching,  taking photos of our swimmers in action, time-keeping and officiating at competitions are examples of some of the ways to get involved.

The Club also provides a range of training courses for potential time-keepers and judges. These are free to parents and aim to instil the skills and confidence to participate and in turn support the Club to compete at a local, regionally and national level.

For further information please approach  one of the Committee who would be very pleased to receive any support you can offer.

Get involved!
